This is a brand new, A1 size guide poster to the RAF Squadrons who took part in the Battle of Britain. The poster displays the 68 squadron badges of the RAF squadrons who took part, as well as a dozen British and Luftwaffe planes that were involved and a map of the UK at the time with the 4 different sectors and the location of the 53 airfields that were active during the battle.
Finally, there is some information about the battle and the RAF, written by Wing Commander R. R. Stanford-Tuck that puts everything into context. Overall, this is a great commemorative poster to the Battle of Brtiain and the RAF. It also acts as a wonderful guide to WW2 Royal Air Force Squadron badges. The size of the poster is A1 (84 x 59cm) and has been folded into a convienent A4 size for storage. It is printed on 130gsm, gloss paper.
