This is an original WW2 Air Raid Precautions Warden ARP Gas Mask Respirator, Bag & Tin Helmet for sale. The helmet is dated 1943 and the gas mask is dated 1941. There is a little wear and tear but overall, this is in pretty good condition, especially compared to most others we’ve had over the years. This came directly from the family of an ARP warden so we don’t really want to split it up as it has been together since the war. Also comes with the canvass bag for the gas mask.

This lot includes an excellent original WW2 British MKII Steel Helmet painted in ARP Warden colours. This pattern of helmet was introduced in the late 1930s and replaced the earlier brodie helmet shell shape used during the Great War and early inter-war period. They saw widespread issue throughout the Second World War with all arms of service including the Civil Defence. Also included is an original WW2 British 1941 Dated Civil Defence/ ARP Issue gas mask respirator & original canvas bag.
