WW2 German Kriegsmarine Naval Swastika Flag – Brought back by a Royal Marine

This is an original WW2 German Kriegsmarine Naval Swastika flag for sale. It was brought back as a war souvenir by a British Royal Marine who fought in WW2. His name was William J. Sunter and any buyer could potentially research where this flag might have come from by following Sunter’s war service. Unfortunately, Sunter died a few years ago and his family inherited various items from his war service such as medals, diaries, photos etc. which they understandably wished to keep, but this Swastika flag and a couple of Nazi medals (again collected by Sunter as souvenirs), they decided they would rather sell and passed them on to us.

The flag itself measures about 90cm x45cm and is in very good condition for its age. It has what looks like a small dirty watermark by the swastika and a few other minor marks, but overall it is in good condition with no splits or tears.
