Where to sell British South Africa Company Medals?

If you have inherited a British South Africa Company medal or other BSAC police badges, buttons, photos, documents, diaries, postcards, maps, photo albums, letters, ephemera or memorabilia from the Pioneer Column of 1890, the First Matabele War of 1893, the Jameson Raid of 1895 or the Matabeleland and Mashonaland Uprising of 1896 and 1897; then we would be very happy to buy these from you in cash. We pay top prices for BSAC medals and can beat auction houses valuations even before they take off their 20% sellers premium. Please just send us photos of what you have for sale to sales@britishmilitarybadges.co.uk and we will be happy to make you an immediate offer.

We buy anything relating to Cecil Rhodes and British South Africa Company wars of the 1890s and are experts in this area, hence why we are able to offer you the best prices. We are particularly keen to acquire any 1890s period Rhodesia Horse, Rhodesia Mounted Police, Southern Rhodesian Volunteers, Bechuanaland Border Police BBP, Matabeleland Mounted Police MMP, Salisbury Horse, Umtali Volunteer Corps, Grey’s Scouts, Bulawayo Relief Force, British Central Africa Company, Mashonaland Mounted Police or British South Africa Company Police BSACP buttons, cap badges or shoulder titles. We would be very interested to buy anything relating to Cecil Rhodes or the Jameson Raid as well as the early history of Victorian Rhodesia (pre-1902). If you had an ancestor who was part of the early history of Rhodesia and wish to sell their documents and medals, please contact us – you will probably be very surprised how much we can offer.

The British South African Company and its medals are a very interesting if overlooked part of the history of the British Empire as are the Matabele and Mashona tribes who inhabited the area which became Southern Rhodesia. If you are a collector and have anything related to Mashonaland, Matabeleland and Bechuanaland and the Bechuanaland Border Police of the 1890s or any memorabilia relating to Cecil Rhodes or battlefield relics, artefacts and documents from the Matabele Wars, please send us a photo of what you have.
